Hillel of Greater Toronto, in partnership with UJA’s Impact Toronto division, presents the documentary Darfur Now, a story of hope in one of humanity’s darkest hours. Speaking at the screening is Adam Sterling, Executive Director of the Sudan Divestment Task Force, who is also featured in the film. Having first-hand experience in Darfur allows him to engage his audience with the use of personal encounters. Sterling is one of many young professionals to help the people of Darfur. He is also the recipient of a number of humanitarian awards and serves as an advisor on Sudan engagement issues to numerous state pension funds, state legislatures and federal representatives in the United States.
